Lately, I've been thinking a lot about one of the best mini TV-series ever made - Dansih roadmovie Charlot og Charlotte. Thumbs up that it will be released on DVD at some point.

I wrote to Thura Films about one hundred years ago, asking about a DVD-release. I got the answer to stay patient - they were just working on a new soundtrack since there was some copywright-bruhaha with the old one.
This was at least one year ago. One would wish that they could get going sometime soon... :/
Doesn't look too good then... Or maybe they're working on it... Based on the fact that this post gets some google hits every now and then, I get the impression that Charlot & Charlotte still has some fans out there :)
I wrote a new mail to Thura films today (29/2-2008) and got the response: "A DVDrelease is still on it's way, but unfortunately I can't give you a definite date for it yet. But keep your eyes open!!"
:p I think they wrote that last part the last time too. But they confirmed that they had gotten a LOT of mails regarding C&C. Best not think about it and take it as a happy surprise when it is released.
Thanks for the info! Yeah, it'll be a pleasant surprise... On a more general level, a DVD release has saved many a good production from a quiet death in the archives.
